The hotel has spotless rooms and a clean pool. Its location is top, near beautiful beaches like Cala Cipolla, Su Giudeu, and Chia. - I appreciated the high-end beachfront lodging, set at a moderate distance from the hotel.

Abamar Hotel looks like youth hostel not a four star hotel. It's highly overpriced, the building itself is very old, needs renovating, very smelly as if it was a military cantine. The staff do not speak english at all except one lady who was very helpful. The rooms were quite tidy but very old, furnished with equipment from the another era, no air con, the key is a joke (looks like it unlocks an old castle's doors). Beds are very small, there was no mini bar. Vey nice sea view though. Bathroom was dirty and old with very questionable bath tube and the shower. If you evere watched "The Faulty Towers" tv Show, it looks like it. Breakfasts is a joke also, no vegetables, sausages, eggs at all. Only one kind of bread, tea and coffe on demand only. As for the pool it was half ful with a unidentified mud and dirt at the bottom. Of course it was closed for public. The acces road is like african one. No tarmac at all.

Excellent restaurant, friendly staff. Free WLAN access in the lobby in request (hotel next door €10/hr.). Clean rooms, many with sea view. Fair pricing in hotel restaurant and bar.
The location is out of town, not much to do (mid-May a -very- quiet location). Compared to the hotel next door a real bargain (there was our conference), but aside of the clean room, friendly staff, beach location (with sea-view rooms) and a very good restaurant, the hotel is rather old fashioned, 70s-style. Renovation seems under way (nice hotel bar), but is urgently needed on the interior and outside. I.e. The restaurant has the charm of a hospital (they make good with their quality!). -Any- international TV channel would be nice, out of the hundreds of satellite channels, all are Italian.

Peace and quiet at end of the season, able to sit outside in warm sunshine, able to walk a short distance to a lovely beach, friendly hotel staff.
Air conditioning switched off for last few days, choice of mosqito bites or uncomfortably warm room at night

The proximity to the private beach was sensational and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Having the option of a long stay for an extra €15 was fantastic.

Good location on the beach, free parking available. Very good service at the beach provided (bar personnel).
Older hotel. Not everything renewed. Only 20% of hotel staff speaks English. Average hotel restaurant.

We had a great time here at this hotel right on the beach. The location was perfect, with easy access to the village and a beautiful clean beach just a few steps away. The staff at the hotel and the restaurant were extremely friendly and always had a smile on their faces. The rooms were clean and recently renovated, and we were lucky enough to be moved to a 4-star room on the 4th floor with an amazing view. We had a late check-out and even got to take a shower before leaving. the service, location, and room quality made our stay here very enjoyable.
As for the cons, we did have to pay for the sunbeds on the beach, which seemed a bit cheeky. However, the beach itself was immaculate and the whole area was nice and clean.
